Tech Overview for Parents
Our technology allows parents to easily access information about your children and our school community. This document will detail our various platforms and how to easily navigate between them.

1. ParentsWeb – START HERE!
https://jb-pa.client.renweb.com/pw/ The District Code is JB-PA. Your username and password were chosen by you when you created the account. (See below for password reset information.)
ParentsWeb is a private and secure portal that allows parents to view demographic information specific to your child while protecting your child’s information from others. You may view your child’s schedule, attendance, access staff and school directories, re-enrollment and other school forms, including Middle School B’nai Mitzvah address lists and dates. You can also update your family’s demographic information and your child’s medical records (Magnus Health). You are also able to access Family Account Balances with Online Payment.
NOTE: As of now, only parents have ParentsWeb accounts.
2. Parent Portal on jbha.org
https://www.jbha.org/parents Log in with your ParentsWeb username and password! (If you forget your ParentsWeb login and password, return to ParentsWeb to reset. You can also choose the Parent Forgot Username or Password link on the web and it will take you to the same place.)
Browse our site for updated school information, news updates, photo galleries, and direct login to Canvas. You now can view a customizable school calendar with school and athletic events, lunch menus, and upcoming holidays; import events to your personal calendar; see sports rosters; fill out permission and lunch forms online; buy new spirit gear from our brand-new school store; and so much more!
***Students also have their own Student Portal at https://www.jbha.org/students. Students log in here using their JBHA email account. If they are not already logged in to their JBHA email, Google will ask for their JBHA email password. After logging in, students will have a direct login to Canvas without having to log in a second time. Encourage your child to explore the other features of the student portal, which includes calendars and important information about drama, clubs, the school store, the Student Association and lunch menus.
3. Canvas – Log in to Canvas as a Parent Observer via the Parent Portal
No need to remember another password! You will automatically be linked with your children’s academic classes. Our Canvas site is a private and secure learning management system that students use to access materials for their classes, assignments, due dates for projects and assessments, and their grades. Parents can view basic student interactions, course content, and their child's grades but cannot participate in the course itself. Students will receive automatic logins using their JBHA email account.
FAQs
What is my ParentsWeb username and password?
Log in using the same username and password you created when filling out your enrollment packet. If you forget your login, you can use the "Forgot Username / Password?" link on https://jb-pa.client.renweb.com/pw/. ***Use your ParentsWeb username and password to log in to the Parent Portal on the jbha.org web site
How do I enroll another parent on ParentsWeb?
- Visit https://jb-pa.client.renweb.com/pw/
- After the Login screen opens, please select Create New ParentsWeb Account.
- Enter in the Email field your email address as provided in your application to the school.
- Click the Create Account button. You will receive an email from Customer Support containing a link that will allow you to create your username and password. For security purposes, the link will remain active for 6 hours.
- Please click on the link. A Change/Create Password screen will open. You may use the default username provided or create a new username. Then type in your desired password into the Password field and Confirm Field.
- Click on the Save Username and/or Password button.
- Close the window.
What is FACTS or RenWeb? I sometimes hear these names.
Sometimes you may hear ParentsWeb referred to as “FACTS” or “RenWeb”. FACTS, formerly called RenWeb, is the name of our internal student database and ParentsWeb is the name of the software that allows for parent access.
How do I make edits to phone numbers, emails, addresses, etc.?
In the School section, click on Web Forms. Select Family Demographic Form. Here you can update the demographic information we have for your students and for you. The fields will be populated with the information currently in our system. Make any corrections and be sure to click SAVE when you are done. Changes will be submitted for review and updated soon after in our database.
How do I complete required medical forms and / or update my child’s medical information?
In the Student section, click on Medical. Click on the direct link to Magnus Health. Enter the required health information and upload required health forms within your Magnus Health account for each child attending Barrack.
How do I find a directory of all staff, students and parents?
Select School and then Directory for the most up-to-date and accurate contact information.
- You can search by name of student or parent and by grade. You can also sort by clicking on any of the headings (Students, Parents, Grade, Phone, Address and Postal Code).
- Click on a Student or Parent Name to view information about family members.
- To print the results of your search, click on the Printer Icon in the upper right corner of the page.

How do I view my student's attendance, behavior or schedule?
In the Student section, click on the links for Attendance, Behavior or Schedules.
How do I fill out an application for a new student or complete enrollment or reenrollment?
In the Apply / Enroll section, select Application to complete an application for a new student. Or select Enrollment / Reenrollment for online enrollment and reenrollment. A new window will open. You will see a link to the enrollment packet for your child Please complete the Online Enrollment Packet forms listed in the left menu, beginning with the “Enrollment Contract” form. The process takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. Enrollment is not complete until you make the deposit and submit the completed packet. Your progress will be saved as you complete the forms. You can use these instructions to return to the packet to complete or make edits.
How do I customize the calendar on the jbha.org web site?
To access our new, customizable calendar, go to Quick Links, and click on School Calendar. Use the filter (funnel icon) to highlight calendars relevant to your family (general, lunch, etc.) for your tailored view. You can even add any calendar to your personal digital calendar by using the RSS feed (rising sun icon).
The Athletics Calendar can be found under the Athletics tab. There, you can use the filter (funnel icon) to highlight the sports your student(s) participate in to view and even download a personalized practice and game schedule. Choose your child’s sport from the drop down to see a full list of practices, games, and season records.
