VoiceThread is a tech tool that can enhance student engagement by integrating visual media and voice into presentations. Teachers and students can create, share, and comment on images, presentations, videos, audio files, documents, and PDFs using the microphone, webcam, or text. It is a perfect way for students to develop critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity skills.

Upload a video and explain what is going on at specific points in the video, gather reflections
Create digital stories by narrating over images, videos, and slides
Evaluate, review, or critique an idea or student presentation
Pose a question or topic and use it as a visual discussion board

TEACHERS and STUDENTS - How to Sign up for VoiceThread?
Visit the VoiceThread website , choose ‘Register’ to create a new account
Complete the required name, JBHA email, and password
Activate your VoiceThread account by verifying your email
To get started using Voicethread, click on ‘Create’ at the top left
Add Media (upload from your computer for choose another source)
Add Title, Description, or Tag if desired

Click on ‘Comment’ to begin adding comments
Use Microphone icon to add a voice comment (most popular)!
Use ABC icon for a text comment
Use the Video icon for a video comment (show your face when recording)
You can also upload a comment or use your phone

Find the ‘Share’ button on the upper left corner to share your VoiceThread, use URL link
You have the option to allow others to comment or view or both
