Tour Builder is a new app for the Google suite.  It is currently in the Beta phase, so new functions are being added regularly. As it stands right now, Tour Builder combines Google Maps/Earth with Slides to produce a unique presentation. As their slogan says, “Put your story on the map.”  Site is linked to the title above.  

Why use this resource:

Offers a new way for students and teachers to present info in class.

Combines elements of Google slides with Google Maps.  The tour can then be sent to Google Earth and viewed in 3D.

Also boasts a user community where visitors can view and share previously made Tours.
