Tech Byte: Plex on Apple TV

Inspiration for the Classroom:

Show DVD’s, movies, etc… through the Apple TV connected to your projector. No disc or disc player needed.

Teachers:

Provide DVD’s that you regularly show in your classroom to Pat Naylis (Technology Office) with enough time to allow him to upload to Plex. A few days is generally recommended.

Getting Started:

Turn on the projector.

Make sure HDMI input is chosen and is showing Apple TV, you should see a picture of city skyline or Apple TV menu.

Click Menu on Apple TV remote if you see picture of city skyline.

Scroll to Plex Icon and push down on Scroll Area to select.

Click JBHA Media Library.

Find movie/video in the library and click to start.
